The Young'uns are a Hartlepool-based folk and maritime trio, recognised locally, nationally and internationally. The group comprises Sean Cooney, David Eagle and Michael Hughes.
We have enjoyed a very successful year in 2008, performing throughout the country in Liverpool, Lancaster, Middlesex, Great Yarmouth amongst others and, once again, abroad at the Bie Daip International Maritime Festival in Holland. We are looking forward to another successful year in 2009.
In January 2007, we also founded the Pot House Folk Club on the Headland in Hartlepool. We are very pleased to announce that it has been very successful so far, with more than 20 regulars in attendance. The club runs on a fortnightly cycle, with each night taking the form of a singaround. Full details can be found on the clubs website: The Pot House Folk Club . Come and join us and you will be gauranteed to be made most welcome.
We are also pleased to report that the Young'uns Podcast is still going strong, with listeners in the region of '350+' per week. A big thanks to our very own David Eagle for dedicating a lot of time and effort to the podcast and for ensuring that it continues to be released on a weekly basis. We would also like to thank all of our guests for helping to make the podcast so successful. Long may it continue!
